    There is a lot more to hardware than just controls in the form of circuit boards or carrier boards for COM modules.

    The mechanical conception, the right choice of form factor, an optimal adaptation to the installation space and a wiring that is as efficient as possible are also essential aspects with regard to sustainability and long-term maintenance of the final product.

    The overall functionality is always the priority.

  • Software solutions: Develop, adapt, monitor

    Several components have their own functionalities, and in most cases the interaction of all components with regard to the desired functionality does not exist via plug & play. This is where we come in and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

    We create application-specific firmware and software based on LINUX or WIN operating systems. Starting at device drivers, over remote update functionalities up to backend management systems or Cloud solutions.

    Throughout the years MCS has earned an outstanding reputation with its low-energy (minimised energy consumption) and thermal printer solutions.

    This has resulted in exciting products, such as power-saving UMTS, LTE and 5G modems, the high-quality Edito kiosk printer or charging controller and the phase changeover controller APUM for the e-mobility sector.

    Today, the simple and user-friendly operation of devices and machines is the main goal in the development of HMIs. Depending on the application, we integrate any form of operating elements and create interfaces for your applications that are as self-explanatory as possible.

    Also in semi-industrial applications “on demand” is attracting increased interest. ePaper display solutions (similar to an e-reader) are used, for example, to provide information on variable room occupancy or can intelligently support building or shop management in form of a price information system (centrally controlled).
