About MCS
In 1977, three university graduates founded Micronic Computer Systeme GmbH to market their passion for developing electronics.
Today, MCS has over 70 employees and has developed into a high-tech solution developer. MCS develops, integrates and produces hardware and software components for a wide range of markets.

For the first time, the company presents a complete access control system for the public sector in cooperation with Deutsche Mechatronics (DTMT). MCS developed the control system, integrated various payment and operating systems and designed the necessary software to function and connect to the customer backend.

The company headquarters with administration and development will be relocated from Tempelhofer Hafen to Berlin's Südkreuz at Geneststrasse 5. On an area of 1,300 sqm, the new location will become a high-tech development centre.

and distributes vending machine solutions for the payment sector in the national and international market. The partnership focuses on the distribution of the OPP-C60 family of vending terminals, including the new NFC technology for contactless and cashless payment solutions.

Major order for an MCS customer from Dubai for the area-wide installation of solar-powered parking ticket machines. The development challenge here is extreme climatic conditions such as humidity, sand, temperature and solar radiation as well as the printing and display of Arabic customer dialogues. In the following years, thousands of parking ticket vending machines will be produced for the Emirates.

3 passionate engineers/physicists and a "backer" found MCS Micronic Computer Systeme GmbH in a garage in Berlin-Lankwitz with the aim of developing and marketing electronic solutions and products based on the then still young microprocessor technology.
