New flexible payment terminal for charging parks: CAPOS
July 25, 2023
In August, MCS enters the pilot phase with a product innovation: CAPOS.
CAPOS is a payment terminal that allows any number of charging points to be operated centrally and charged by card.
The system is thus in line with current legislation, which stipulates that from 2024, new public charging points must be equipped with a common card payment system in addition to the operator‘s own payment options.
CAPOS is flexible in its choice of network provider and payment system, and can therefore be used independently of charging station operators and throughout Europe.
This means that operators of public charging parks can plan their charging infrastructure flexibly, centrally and easily, and retrofit it for the future.
The charging process and payment are intuitive and easy for the user thanks to a touch display.
Hardware and software development as well as integration are centrally bundled at MCS, and production is also carried out in-house in Germany.
Like every new year, we welcomed 2023 with an MCS party. This time with curling, drinks and delicious food at WinterJurte61 in Berlin Schöneberg. If our celebrations are omens for the new year, then this year will be wonderful! 🙂
This September, MCS took part in the biennial InnoTrans in Berlin for the 5th time.
With the focus „101% individual. Made in Germany.“ we presented a cross-section of our development and production solutions from the fields of e-mobility, access control, vending and public transport in Hall 2.1 from 20 to 23 September. There was great interest in our booth and we had a good exchange about new and interesting product ideas from our visitors.
Another highlight was our booth party on Wednesday evening, where we welcomed a large number of guests for lime-infused drinks and small treats.

A total of 4250 euros was raised through sponsorship and the sale of coffee and cake, with which Africa Lutz supports projects in Sauraha, Nepal.
With the MCS DDCC charge controller and a small additional module, we have created a simple and cost-effective way to meet future requirements with our partner ZIIB and the PAY WITH CHARLIE app. Quick and easy to retrofit and simple for the user to operate via app.

E-Mobility: Your partner for 10 years in the field of charging technology
March 3, 2021
E-Mobility at MCS: We have been a partner for charge controllers in the field of AC charging technology for almost 10 years. Now also with our own E-Smart.
For the final test phase of the digital charge controller DDCC according to EN15118, we built our own charging station and completed our test environment by purchasing a smart eq of the latest generation.
Our standard charge controller is the central control unit for 2 independent charging points in charging terminals and wall boxes. Hardware and software development of this plug-and-play solution comes from us.
The intelligent phase changeover switch APUM avoids grid overloads when charging e-vehicles and has been available on the market as a product since 2019. Here, too, we developed the hardware and firmware.
Our employee with many years of sales experience, Michael Pfeil, is taking over the sales management and coordination of office and field sales with immediate effect.
His previous responsibilities in project and customer management – as well as the active field service – form an excellent basis for his expanded position.
He will continue to be fully available to his current clients as a contact and advisor.
In his new position, he will ensure the successful implementation of the requirements in the interest of the customers, supported by his extensive knowledge and experience and the trusting access to all departments.
His motto “Together for success” fits MCS perfectly.
Gulf Traffic in Dubai is the meeting place for the road, public transport and parking industry in the Middle East and North Africa.
From 9-11 December 2019, MCS presented the latest developments in components for vending and parking machines at the joint stand with our partners Energy International and Automaten Technik Baumann.
As of now, MCS has a new slogan. “Development, Integration. Production.” replaces the previous slogan “Ideas. Solutions. Products.” and thus briefly, concisely and crisply states what the core competences of MCS are.
In the course of this, our logo was also slightly modified and now puts the catchy MCS more in the foreground, while the full name “Micronic Computer Systeme” recedes into the background.
The product from our cooperation with Elektrosil in Hamburg has made it into Next Mobility. The phase changer ensures sufficient charging capacity at e-car charging stations, greater grid stability – and could save millions in infrastructure costs.
In addition, there is also an interview with Carsten Krebs:
“Elektrosil and MCS have been developing electronic components for diverse applications for decades. And they have technological answers to pressing questions in the current infrastructure debate. This is what next-mobility talked about in an interview with Carsten Krebs, key account with a focus on e-mobility.”
Change of shareholders at MCS: New shareholder structure and strategic reorientation
September 10, 2019
Since 2013, the Hamburg-based company Elektrosil GmbH has been the main shareholder of MCS GmbH.
